Heather Robertson is licensed to practice in Nevada state and federal courts and has practiced law in Nevada since 2009.

Mrs. Robertson joined Gunderson Law Firm in 2023 and has extensive experience in civil litigation, including construction matters, business and contract disputes, and other complex civil matters. Over the course of her career, she has represented clients in courts throughout Nevada and in trials, arbitrations, mediations, and appellate proceedings.

Before joining Gunderson Law Firm, Mrs. Robertson practiced general litigation for 14 years, with significant experience in construction defect litigation, domestic matters, and appeals. She has practiced in Reno, Las Vegas, Carson City, Douglas County, and throughout rural Nevada.

Mrs. Robertson previously served as a staff attorney for Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans, where she represented clients in courts throughout Northern Nevada, including Carson City and Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, Storey, Humboldt, Elko, and White Pine Counties. Before entering private practice, she spent two years clerking for judges in Nevada's First Judicial District Court.

Mrs. Robertson's Nevada experience began before her legal career. Prior to law school, she worked in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Senator Harry Reid, in Carson City for Governor Kenny C. Guinn, with Washoe County District 25 during the 72nd Nevada Legislative Session, and for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.

Professional and Community Involvement

Mrs. Robertson serves on the Board of Directors of Dress for Success Northern Nevada-Tahoe and chairs the organization's Compliance Committee. She is also an active volunteer with Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada.

Her prior community involvement includes service on the boards of the Wellspring Women's Center and Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association. She also previously volunteered with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and Alliance of Therapy Dogs, through which she and her therapy dog volunteered in nursing homes, hospitals, group foster homes, schools, and programs serving members of the military.

Mrs. Robertson is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association and previously participated in the Bruce R. Thompson Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
